PLEASE NOTE: Due to the predicted rain and wind on Saturday, we may have a Sunday May 31 8 am RAIN DATE! We will post here for certain by end of day on Thursday, or watch our instagram @foresideantiques for updates!
We are pleased to offer items from the Estate of Barbara Goodbody. Barbara was a passionate philanthropist, world traveler, photographer and collector with a wide range of interests!
The collection features Outsider and folk art, photography, furnishings, textiles, clothing and many wonderful books. Amos Ferguson, Jorelus Joseph, Julien Clermont, Johnson Allen Zion, Raz Dizzy, Mireille Delice, various other artists, Maine artists such as Elaine Niemi, Tonee Harbert, and others, Terry Turrell of Seattle, etc. Selection of photography, as well as some of Barbara’s own works, Haitian, African, South American, and Indian pieces, Indigenous pottery, spiritual works, Native crafts, textiles and fiber arts, are just some of the categories. Also American, Indian, and other furnishings, a truly unusual and soulful collection of items. Furniture and accessories include several sofas, upholstered chairs, tables, lamps, and rugs. Designer clothing by Armani, Geoffrey Beene and others.
Because these items were all in storage (about 6 units worth!), they will be sold under a tent and in our shop in Falmouth. We have cleared out the shop to make room.
There is so much that we will be unpacking and posting photos over the next several days. Check back often to see what we unearth each day!
